Hiking trip to "Appelsinstein" with local guide
Excursion Point "Appelsinstein" is just a few km from Kirkenes, but offers spectacular views. The trip goes through easy terrain on a trail. We start from Kirkenes and driving 10 min to the parking lot. Walk will take approx. 30 min to "Appelsinsteinen" a great stone which lies in the terrain (left from the last ice age) and is a popular destination for locals. Great views over the bay and whole Kirkenes. Short break before we return to the parking lot. The guide will tell you about nature, history and answer all your questions. A very personal trip, only small groups of maximum 16 people.

Guided hike to "Namdalen" in Pasvik valley
Start from Kirkenes by minibus. On the way to Pasvik we pass the iron ore mines and make a stop at the viewpoint Storfjell. After 25 min by car will start our walk in the Pasvik taiga forest. We are in easy terrain on a trail all the way to the old abandoned farm Namdalen (3 km). Walking about 45 min. Up at the farm, we take a coffee break with a light meal before we return. The guide will tell you about nature, history and answer all your questions. A very personal trip, only small groups of maximum 8 people.

Guided hiking tour to the point where Norway, Russia and Finland meets - overnight tour
Treriksrøysa, the point where the three countries meet, also is the only point in the world where three time zones meet! We follow the track of the border guards, a hike for 5 km each way. Unique wildlife with birds and in the largest population of brown bear in Norway. We spend the night in a cosy wilderness hut. Traditional sauna and food bades on local ingredients.
