Pick up by appointment, and we drive to a suitable place to start out with the carts. These are for two persons per vehicle, so you must be prepared to drive yourself. Experience the interaction between yourself and the dogs and enjoy the great nature.

Husky and watchdogs in the land of brown bears, a Pasvik- sightseeing including lunch

We would like to give you a sightseeing in the beautiful valley of Pasvik – along the border to Russia. Pasvik has a long and interesting history that we would like to give you some insight into on our way to our husky kennel. At our kennel you will get a guided tour around the kennel and the possibility to cuddle with our dogs as much as you like. In addition to around 50 huskies we do also have watchdogs that keep our kennel free of brown bears – our location is in the middle of Norway’s biggest population of this amazing animal. After the tour we will serve you lunch based on local ingredients outside or in our traditional Sami lavvu.

Join us in the beautiful Pasvik valley, we will give you a guided tour up to BIRKs kennel at Melkefoss, south of Kirkenes, right at the Russian border. At the kennel we will show you around and do a tour with our sled dogs pulling us in a wagon. The tour will partly go along the border river deviding Norway and Russia. At the kennel you will also meet our watch dogs that keep our kennel free of brown bears. If you like you can learn and join us when we do harness the dogs before the tour. We round up the night in our Sami lavvu with a dinner made on Sami traditions.
BE AWARE: Due to the dogs health we do not run this tour when it is over 12-14 degrees celcius
