KI10 Snowmobile excursion along the Russian border (4 hours)
We start by minibus from Kirkenes to Pasvikdalen. After 20 min we continue by snowmobile out onto the ice on the Pasvikelva river to take a look at the Russian border. Light lunch with coffee around a fire place in the forest or in our small cabin (depends on weather conditions). A very personal trip with plenty of information on the history, landscape and way of life in the north.
Length of snowmobile trip: approx. 20 km. A fun trip for kids too. Driving licence for car/motorcycle required. Children under 15 as passengers only.

KI32 Aurora Borealis - Experience the Northern light on a snowmobile trip (4 hours)
We start by minibus from Kirkenes to valley Pasvikdalen (25 min.). Out in the open, the Northern Lights are untainted by the artificial lights of the town. Guide provides information as we travel. We continue by snowmobile and drive out onto the ice covering the Pasvikelva river, the border river with Russia. We start on our hunt for the Northern Lights. Light meal and coffee served in our cosy cabin. Experience our dark, cold, but exotic climate - may be the northern light "Aurora Borealis" will appear above us?

KI11 Snowmobile safari to the three-borders-point "Treriksrøysa" and the National Park (8 hours)
We go by bus from Kirkenes to the valley of Pasvik – "Pasvikdalen". Our experienced guide provides you with an insight into the unique history and culture of the valley. We visit the National Park Centre before going by snowmobiles into the National Park and to the three-borders-point. This point is where the Norwegian, Russian and Finnish borders meet. An outdoor lunch and coffee break is made during the trip. (Weather permitting.) Length of trip approx. 80 kilometres.

KI33 Dog-sledge and snowmobile - two activities in one excursion (6,5 hours)
We start out from Kirkenes by minibus. On our journey through Pasvikdalen valley, bordering Russia, our experienced guide will provide an insight into the area’s fascinating history. After 20 minutes, we leave the bus and continue by snowmobile, driving approx. 12 km out onto the ice on the river to take a look at the Russian border. Well back we contiue by minibuss to the husky kennel BIRK. Here the dog sleding grip starts into the deep Taiga forest. Once we return, we serve a typical North Norwegian meal made from local ingredients. You will receive basic training in driving a dog-sledge and snowmobile, and your guide will be there to help you at all times.
