Northern Lights

Due to it`s dry and cold continental climate, Kirkenes is one of the best spots in Norway to observe the Northern lights. All tours take place late in the afternoon / evening since it is the best time to see the Northern Lights. Lights can be observed already from September to March. The tours are conducted far away from artificial light so that the northern lights are even more beautiful and easier to observe. We can not give guarantee of seeing the northern lights but all tours are a great adventure in an Arctic winter landscape.
